I don’t get it. What are you?

We hear this a lot. Pirouette is a wine shop and a restaurant. You can go straight to the shop to pickup wine & snacks to take home, or you can sit down for lunch or dinner. Or enjoy some wine & bites during happy hour for the in-between time of the day. You can even pick a bottle in the shop and our servers will add it to your tab and open it for you to have with your meal. And when you’re done with your meal, you can head to the shop to grab some of those bottles you loved and bring them home. Our servers are happy to go get them for you, too, or recommend something else you might enjoy.

Wait, what? I can pick a bottle from the shop and have it at the table?

That’s right, with no additional markup or corkage fee. The whole shop is our bottle list. You are welcome to settle into your seat, then head over to peruse the shelves. But if you don’t want to get up and go shopping, we also have some bottles we think are just spectacular and deserve the spotlight listed right there on the back of the Drinks list. Just like the old days in school, remember to turn your page over for more.

I love your place and I love my dog. Can we both come and sit outside?

Your dog is the coolest, but we are not licensed to host pets. Only service animals are allowed indoors or on our patio. We welcome you to leash your best friend to the planters and if a table is available, we will seat you next to each other for a lovely afternoon or evening. Just imagine all the attention from dog-loving passersby!

Do you have happy hour?

We do! Drop in Tuesday - Saturday from 3pm - 6pm for a glass of wine and a bite to eat. Check out our current menu here.

Why don’t you accept cash?

We cringe thinking about the old days of running late to work and having to break twenties to make change at the table or walking that zippered pouch to the bank. Everyone knows what’s inside! Being cashless reduces risk, and allows us to fairly distribute our tips to the whole house.

Tips to the whole house? What do you mean?

We pay our staff fair hourly wages. In addition, tips are shared with the whole house—front and back (except owners, managers & salaried staff). When you have a wonderful time with us, your tip is shared among the servers, food runners/bussers, line & prep cooks and dishwashers. A lot of excellent people are part of the experience, even if you don’t see them.

Do you do wine dinners? Or tastings? Do you cater?

We do! Check our Events page and signup on our email list to stay aware of upcoming good times. We even sometimes host live music! If you have a private event in mind, let us help you with planning.

My friends and I want to come to your place this Friday. How can we guarantee a spot?

The best way to snag a table is to book one on Resy for parties up to 10. If your party is larger than that, send us an email and we will do our best to reserve a table for you.
